Veteriner Parazitoloji Tedavilerinde Akıllı İlaç Salım Sistemlerinin Farmakoterapötik Önemi
Özet
Paraziter hastalıklar, veteriner hekimlikte hem hayvan sağlığı ve refahını hem de ekonomik sürdürülebilirliği doğrudan etkileyen önemli sorunlar arasında yer almaktadır. Geleneksel antiparaziter tedaviler, uygulama sıklığı, hedef dışı dağılım, yan etkiler, ilaç direnci ve gıda güvenliği açısından çeşitli sınırlılıklar taşımaktadır. Bu bağlamda akıllı ilaç salım sistemleri; ilacın hedef dokuya yönlendirilmesi, kontrollü ve uzatılmış salım sağlanması, terapötik etkinliğin artırılması ve istenmeyen etkilerin azaltılması gibi avantajlar sunarak veteriner parazitoloji alanında giderek daha fazla önem kazanmaktadır. Bu kitap bölümünde, veteriner parazitoloji tedavilerinde kullanılan akıllı ilaç salım sistemleri farmakoterapötik açıdan ele alınmakta; sistemlerin çalışma prensipleri, antiparaziter ilaçlarla entegrasyonu, klinik uygulama potansiyelleri ve gelecekteki araştırma yönelimleri kapsamlı biçimde değerlendirilmektedir.
