Özet
Girişimsel olmayan bir teknik olması, kolay çekim özelliği, kolay ulaşılabilir olması, kısa sürede yüksek çözünürlükte görüntüler elde edilebilmesi, hem kalitatif hem de kantitatif bilgiler sağlaması OKT’nin üstün özellikleri arasında sayılabilir. Tüm bu avantajları nedeniyle OKT, retina ve koroid hastalıklarının tanı ve tedavisinde önemli bir yere sahiptir.
