İş ve Özel Hayat Dengesi: Çatışmadan Dengeye, Denge Sağlamaya Yönelik Uygulamalar
Özet
Bu bölümün amacı iş ve özel hayat dengesine ilişkin uygulamalara dair ayrıntılı bir bilgi rehberi oluşturmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda öncelikle iş ve özel hayat dengesinin tarihsel perspektiften nasıl bir yol izlediğine ilişkin aktarımlarda bulunulmuştur. Bu kısım tarihteki ilk uygulamalar, yasal ve hukuki düzenlemeler ve iş-özel hayat dengesinin önemine ilişkin bilgiler içermektedir. Sonraki kısım iş-özel hayat dengesi kavramının tanımına ilişkin olmakla birlikte, bu tanımların çatışma, bağlılık, denge ve kontrol odaklı temalar, diğer spesifik temalar ve bütüncül tanımlar olmak üzere ne şekilde sınıflandırılabileceğini göz önüne sermektedir. Devamında gelen kısım iş-özel hayat dengesinin duygusal, zamansal, davranışsal ve bilişsel boyutlarını açıklamaktadır. İş-özel hayat uygulamaları örgütsel ve bireysel düzeyde incelenebilmektedir. İki yaşam alanı arasındaki dengeyi sağlayabilmek üzere bireylerin alabileceği önlemler olduğu gibi, örgütlerin de bu anlamda sorumlulukları söz konusudur. Bu bağlamda örgütsel uygulamalar kapsamında esnek çalışma düzenlemeleri, ebeveynlik izinleri, spor olanakları, doğurganlığa ilişkin uygulamalar, bakım, sağlık ve iyi oluş desteklerinden bahsedilmiştir. Son olarak da iş-özel hayat dengesini sağlamaya yönelik bireysel uygulama ve önerilere yer verilmiştir.
