Göz Cerrahisi ve Bakımı
Özet
Dünya Sağlık Örgütü verilerine göre görme bozuklukları yeryüzünde yaklaşık 2.2 milyar insanı etkilemekte ve çoğunun önlenebilir olduğu bildirilmektedir. Bireylerin göz sağlıklarının korunması ve bu bozuklukların erken tanılanmasında, farkındalıklarının arttırılması önem taşımaktadır. Bu kitap bölümünde, toplumda sık karşılaşılan ve cerrahi girişim gerektiren göz hastalıklarına yer verilmiştir. Hastalıkların gelişme nedenleri, belirti ve bulguları ile güncel rehberlerde belirtilen tedavi ve bakım girişimleri başlıklar halinde ele alınmıştır.
According to World Health Organization data, visual disorders affect approximately 2.2 billion people around the world and most of them are reported to be preventable. It is important to protect individuals' eye health and increase their awareness in early diagnosis of these disorders. In this book section, eye diseases that are frequently encountered in society and require surgical intervention are included. The causes of disease development, symptoms and findings, and treatment and care interventions specified in current guidelines are discussed under headings.
