Tiroit Cerrahisinde Bakım
Özet
Tiroid, vücut metabolizmasını düzenleyen ve önemli vücut fonksiyonlarını etkileyen hormonları üreten bir bezdir. Tiroid hormonlarının salınımındaki azalma veya artışlar problemlere yol açmaktadır. Tiroid hastalıkları içinde guatr, multiple noduler guatr ve tiroid kanseri sık karşılaşılan durumlar arasındadır. Tiroid bezinin sık karşılaşılan hastalıklarında genellikle cerrahi tedavi tiroidektomidir. Bu bölümde tiroidektomi öncesi ve sonrası hasta bakımı ele alınmaktadır.
The thyroid is a gland that produces hormones that regulate body metabolism and affect important body functions. Decreases or increases in the release of thyroid hormones cause problems. Among thyroid diseases, goiter, multiple nodular goiter and thyroid cancer are among the most common conditions. Surgical treatment for common diseases of the thyroid gland is usually thyroidectomy. This chapter discusses patient care before and after thyroidectomy.
