Ameliyat Öncesi Hazırlık ve Bakım
Özet
Ameliyat öncesi dönem; ameliyat kararının verildiği andan başlayan ve hastanın cerrahi kliniğe kabulü, ameliyat öncesi ve ameliyat gününde yapılan tüm hazırlıkları kapsayarak hastanın ameliyathane hemşiresine teslimiyle son bulan bir süreçtir. Ameliyat öncesi bakım; hasta hakkında doğru ve ayrıntılı bilgi edinme, patolojik olayların aydınlatılması, risk faktörlerinin belirlenmesi, ameliyata yönelik en üst düzeyde güvenlik önlemlerinin sağlanması, hastalık ve ameliyat hakkında bilgilendirme ve eğitim sürecini kapsamaktadır. Ameliyat öncesi hazırlığın amacı; ameliyat öncesi komplikasyon riskini belirlemek, komplikasyon riskini azaltmak, hastayı normal fizyolojik fonksiyonlarına mümkün olduğunca çabuk döndürmek ve cerrahi bakım maliyetini azaltmaktır. Hemşirenin bu rolleri yerine getirilebilmesi için gerekli bilgi ve donanıma sahip olmalıdır.
The preoperative period is defined as the period of time that begins with the decision to operate and ends when the patient is handed over to the operating room nurse. Preoperative care includes obtaining accurate and detailed information about the patient, educating the patient about pathologic events, identifying risks and risk factors, ensuring the highest level of safety measures for the surgery, and providing information and education about the disease and the surgery. The aim of preoperative preparation is to identify the risk of preoperative complications, reduce the risk of complications, return the patient to normal physiological function as quickly as possible and reduce the cost of surgical care. It is therefore essential that nurses have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform these tasks effectively.
