Yanık
Özet
Küresel bir halk sağlığı sorunu olan yanık yaralanmaları, yaygın akut yaralanmalardan biridir. Avrupa Yanık Derneği (European Burn Association) yanığı yoğun ısı teması (elektrik, kimyasal, radyasyon, inhalasyon ve donma) sonucu oluşan, insan cildini tahrip eden ve/veya hasara uğratan, multidisipliner bir ekip ve sürekli tedavi gerektiren karmaşık bir travma olarak tanımlamaktadır. Bir yanığın ciddiyeti ve prognozu, etkilenen vücut yüzeyinin alanı, etkilenen vücut bölgesi, yanığın derinliği, yaralının yaşı ve sistemik hastalıkları ile doğrudan ilişkilidir. Yanık tedavisi acil, akut ve rehabilitasyon dönemi olmak üzere 3 ayrı dönemde multidisipliner olarak planlanmalı ve uygulanmalıdır. Unutulmamalıdır ki; iyi yapılmayan yanık bakımı sekonder olarak birçok komplikasyona sebep olur.
Burn injuries are a global public health problem and one of the most common acute injuries. The European Burn Association defines a burn as a complex trauma caused by intense heat contact (electrical, chemical, radiation, inhalation and freezing) that destroys and/or damages the human skin and requires a multidisciplinary team and continuous treatment. The severity and prognosis of a burn is directly related to the area of the affected body surface, the affected body region, the depth of the burn, the age and systemic diseases of the injured person. Burn treatment should be planned and implemented multidisciplinarily in 3 different periods: emergency, acute and rehabilitation period. It should not be forgotten that poor burn care causes many secondary complications.
