Cerrahide Hasta Güvenliği
Özet
Cerrahi müdahaleler hastalar için savunmasız bir süreçtir. Bu süreçte özellikle ameliyathane olmak üzere cerrahi klinikler ve cerrahi yoğun bakımlar hasta güvenliği açısından daha çok risk teşkil eder. Cerrahi süreçte doku bütünlüğünün bozulması, cerrahi alan enfeksiyonu, düşmeler, iletişimsizlik, basınç yaralanmaları, kullanılan teknolojik cihazlar, ilaç uygulamaları, yanlış taraf cerrahisi, numune yönetimi gibi birçok faktör hasta güvenliğini olumsuz etkilemektedir. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü ile birçok uluslararası kuruluş hastanelerde hasta güvenliğini sürdürmeye yönelik hedefler geliştirmiş ve güvenli cerrahi kontrol listeleri ile hasta güvenlik sürecini standartlaştırmışlardır.
