Normal Kreatin, Anormal Elektrolitler: Mannıtol Paradoksu
Özet
Mannitol, intrakraniyal basıncı azaltmak amacıyla uzun yıllardır kullanılan bir osmotik diüretiktir. Ancak yüksek dozlarda veya uzun süreli kullanımda renal tübüllerde hasara ve elektrolit dengesizliklerine yol açabilmektedir. Bu bölümde, postoperatif dönemde mannitol infüzyonu uygulanmış ve serum kreatinin düzeyleri normal seyretmesine rağmen belirgin hipokalemi ve hipomagnezemi gelişen iki olgu anlatacağız.
