Özet

Fonksiyonel ve alternatif yemler, kanatlı beslemede sindirim sağlığının korunması, verimliliğin artırılması ve ürün kalitesinin iyileştirilmesi amacıyla kullanılmaktadır. Probiyotikler, prebiyotikler, postbiyotikler, enzimler, organik asitler, fitobiyotikler ve tarımsal yan ürünler bu kapsamda değerlendirilmektedir. Bu yem ve katkılar; bağırsak mikrobiyotasını dengeleyerek, sindirim enzimlerinin aktivitesini destekleyerek ve besin maddelerinden yararlanmayı artırarak yemden yararlanma, büyüme ve yumurta verimini olumlu yönde etkileyebilir. Ayrıca et ve yumurtanın besin değeri, duyusal özellikleri, oksidatif stabilitesi ve raf ömrünün iyileştirilmesine katkı sağlayabilir. Bununla birlikte elde edilen etkiler; kullanılan yem materyalinin yapısına, katkı düzeyine, kanatlı türüne, yaşına ve yetiştirme koşullarına göre değişebilmektedir. Bu nedenle fonksiyonel ve alternatif yemlerin rasyonlarda uygun düzeylerde kullanılması, sürdürülebilir ve kaliteli kanatlı üretimi açısından önem taşımaktadır.
