Sağlık İletişiminde Yapay Zekâ: Dünü, Bugünü ve Yarını

Özet

Sağlık iletişimi sadece dijitalleşmeyle beraber gelen bir kavram değildir. Bu çalışmada sağlık iletişimi, geçmiş dönemlerden başlayarak yapay zekâ çağı dediğimiz günümüz dönemine kadar uzanan bir çerçevede incelenmektedir. Sağlık iletişimi denilince uzun süre hekim-hasta merkezli, hekimle hastanın yüz yüze iletişimi olarak algılandı (Emanuel ve Emanuel, 1992). Önceleri televizyon, gazete gibi kitle iletişim araçları; daha sonraları internet ve sosyal medya ile sağlık iletişimi daha da dijitalleşmiştir (Eysenbach, 2001). Günümüzde LLM modelleri ve üretken yapay zekâ sistemlerinin yaygınlaşmasıyla sağlık iletişimi farklı bir boyuta evrilmiştir (Ayers vd., 2023). Bu çalışma, yapay zekâyı yalnızca sağlık bilgilerini işleyen bir araç olarak değil; sağlık bilgisini üreten bir teknoloji hâline gelmesi yönüyle incelemektedir. Günümüzde yapay zekâlar hasta ile sağlık sistemi arasındaki ilk temas noktası olmaya başlamışlardır. Bu çalışma dün, bugün ve yarın üzerine kurulan bir analiz olmaktadır. Çalışmamızda temel soru şudur: Yapay zekâ, sağlık iletişimini daha erişilebilir kılarken, hızlı ve kişiselleştirilmiş hâle getirirken; güven, empati, etik sorumluluk ve insanî temas boyutlarını nasıl dönüştürmektedir?
