Early childhood constitutes the most critical years of life, and inclusive practices based on this period are important in reducing inequalities and helping students make a strong start for the future. According to inclusive approaches in early childhood education, planning must be made by taking into account children's own developmental paces. In the inclusive approach, policies and practices that ensure the full participation of all infants and young children in their community become prominent. When children leave their homes and families for the first time, they experience becoming a member of a new community, both in terms of the physical environment and social interaction patterns. Thus, managing the school transition process properly and consistent monitoring of the first years of school are of great importance. School is a holistic system in terms of personnel, teaching methods and techniques, physical arrangements, content, and materials. Therefore, including strategies that facilitate school adaptation and supporting students' adaptive skills are of critical importance for enabling them to derive maximum benefit in this system. The fact that children who receive quality support in this period make strong starts demonstrates the importance of strengthening early literacy skills. Children with special needs should be monitored developmentally from an early period, and family-school collaboration should be ensured for educational regulations appropriate for their characteristics.
