Mevsimsel Buzağılamanın ve Senkronizasyon Uygulamalarının Buzağı Gelişimine Etkileri

Özet

Sığır işletmelerinde temel hedef, buzağının canlı doğması ve sağlıklı şekilde yetiştirilerek et veya süt üretiminde değerlendirilmesi yoluyla işletmenin sürdürülebilirliğinin sağlanmasıdır. Bu bölümde, iklim koşulları, mevsimsel değişkenlik, barınma uygulamaları, bölgesel farklılıklar ve üreme yönetimi stratejileri kapsamında östrus senkronizasyon protokollerinin buzağı sağlığı ve gelişimi üzerindeki etkileri ele alınmaktadır. Gebeliğin son döneminde maruz kalınan sıcaklık stresi, buzağıların doğum ağırlığı, sütten kesim performansı ve bağışıklık parametrelerini etkilerken, doğum sonrası dönemde fizyolojik yanıtlar, sindirim özellikleri ve metabolik göstergeler üzerinde etkili olduğu ortaya konulmuştur. Barınma sistemleri ve yönetim uygulamaları buzağıların büyüme performansı, davranışsal aktiviteleri ve sağlık göstergeleri ile ilişkilendirilmiş; bireysel ve grup barındırma sistemleri arasında yem tüketimi, hastalık insidansı ve davranış özellikleri bakımından farklılıklar belirlenmiştir. Bölgesel koşullar ve yetiştiricilik uygulamaları buzağı mortalitesi ve gelişim performansında değişkenlik oluştururken, kolostrum yönetimi, besleme sıklığı ve sütten kesme uygulamalarının buzağı yaşama gücü ile ilişkili olduğu belirlenmiştir. İlk buzağılama yaşı, buzağılama mevsimi, ana yaşı ve doğum sayısının buzağı doğum ağırlığı ve büyüme performansı üzerinde etkili olduğu ifade edilmiştir. Ayrıca östrus senkronizasyon protokollerinin temel prensipleri ile PGF2α, GnRH ve progesteron temelli uygulamaların ovülasyon zamanlaması, gebelik oranları ve embriyonik kayıplar üzerindeki etkileri değerlendirilmiştir. Bu kapsamda, buzağı gelişimini etkileyen faktörlerin birlikte değerlendirilmesi ve etkili yönetim stratejilerinin planlanması önerilmektedir.
