In an era of rapid knowledge transformation, education systems increasingly aim to cultivate individuals who question rather than merely absorb information, transforming it into original outputs. This chapter examines RADEC (Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain-Create), a constructivist learning design originating in Indonesia, focusing on its theoretical foundations, syntax, empirical evidence, and applicability within the Turkish context. Developed as a practical response to challenges such as dense curricula and limited instructional time, the model draws on Vygotsky's social constructivism, the concept of the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), and Bloom's mastery learning approach. RADEC comprises five sequential phases that begin with individual preparation outside the classroom, deepen through peer and teacher interaction within the classroom, and culminate in an original product. The empirical evidence reviewed indicates that RADEC produces significant positive effects on conceptual understanding, higher-order thinking skills, and 21st-century competencies (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, character, and citizenship), while also enhancing teachers' pedagogical competence. Limitations such as low reading proficiency, classroom management difficulties, and increased teacher workload are also discussed objectively. In conclusion, the chapter argues that the RADEC model shows strong structural alignment with the skill-disposition-value vision of Türkiye's Century of Education Model, offering a production-oriented, multidimensional learning alternative for the Turkish education system.
