Özet

Kardiyak resenkronizasyon tedavisi (KRT), kalp yetmezliği olan hastalarda yaşam kalitesini ve prognozu iyileştiren cihaz terapi yöntemlerinden biridir. Ancak koroner sinüs (KS) kanülasyonu sürecindeki teknik zorluklar nedeniyle işlem karmaşıklığını artırabil-mektedir. Bu olguda, KS kanülasyonu sırasında kullanılan kateteri-nin dış katmanının soyulması ve deforme olması sonucu gelişen nadir bir mekanik komplikasyon ve cerrahi iş birliğiyle başarılı yönetimi sunulmuştur.

Cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) is one of the device-based therapy methods that improves the quality of life and prognosis in patients with heart failure.However, the technical difficulties in the coronary sinus (CS) cannulation process can increase the complexity of the procedure.This case report presents a rare mechanical complication resulting from the peeling and deformation of the outer layer of the catheter used during CS cannulation, and its successful management through surgical collaboration.
