Endokrin Sistem Farmakolojisi
Özet
Endokrin sistem, yaşamın sürdürülmesi için gerekli olan çok sayıda biyolojik süreci düzenlediğinden, bu sistemin işlevlerinin kapsamlı biçimde anlaşılması büyük önem taşır. Hormonların fizyolojik etkilerinin bilinmesi, hormonların aşırı salgılanması ya da yetersiz üretimiyle ortaya çıkan hastalıklarda klinik belirti ve bulguların nasıl geliştiğini kavramayı kolaylaştırır. Benzer şekilde, bu durum insan ve hayvan sağlığı için gerekli olan vitamin ve mineraller açısından da önemlidir. Bu bölüm, hormonlar ile vitamin ve mineral takviyelerinin vücudun normal işleyişinin sürdürülmesindeki rollerine dair mevcut bilgileri ayrıntılı biçimde ele almaktadır.
