Arka Ekstremite Hastalıkları

Özet

Arka ekstremite hastalıkları, hayvanlarda lokomotor fonksiyonların bozulmasına, performans kaybına ve ekonomik kayıplara yol açan önemli ortopedik ve nörolojik problemlerdir. Bu hastalıklar kalça, diz ve tarsal eklemler ile çevre yumuşak dokular ve sinir yapılarını kapsayan geniş bir klinik spektrumda görülmektedir. Etiyolojide travmatik, dejeneratif, enfeksiyöz, gelişimsel ve nörojenik faktörler rol oynamakta olup klinik bulgular türler arasında farklılık gösterebilmektedir. Bu bölümde arka ekstremiteye ait başlıca hastalıklar cerrahi bakış açısıyla ele alınmış; etiyoloji, patogenez, klinik bulgular, tanı yöntemleri ve güncel tedavi yaklaşımları literatür ışığında değerlendirilmiştir. Konservatif, medikal ve cerrahi tedavi seçeneklerinin endikasyonları ve prognoz kriterleri türlere özgü farklılıklar dikkate alınarak tartışılmıştır.
