Özet

Saygılı Annelik Bakımı (SAB), gebelik, doğum ve doğum sonrası süreçlerde kadınların onurunun, özerkliğinin ve destekleyici bakım deneyiminin korunmasını merkeze alan çağdaş bir bakım yaklaşımıdır. Son yıllarda dijital sağlık alanındaki hızlı gelişmeler, SAB ilkelerinin sağlık hizmetlerine entegrasyonunda önemli fırsatlar sunmaktadır. Bu bölümde, saygılı annelik bakımını destekleyen yenilikçi dijital sağlık teknolojileri ve girişimler ele alınmaktadır. Mobil sağlık (mHealth) uygulamaları, tele-sağlık ve uzaktan bakım modelleri ile yapay zekâ temelli çözümlerin; anne sağlığı hizmetlerine erişimi artırmadaki, bakım sürekliliğini desteklemedeki ve kadınların sağlık süreçlerine aktif katılımını güçlendirmedeki rolleri güncel literatür ışığında tartışılmaktadır. Özellikle düşük ve orta gelirli ülkelerde uygulanan örnekler üzerinden, dijital teknolojilerin bakım deneyimini daha destekleyici ve kadın merkezli hâle getirme potansiyeli vurgulanmaktadır. Ayrıca sağlık profesyonellerinin eğitimi, bakım sürekliliği ve toplum temelli yaklaşımların dijital araçlarla bütünleştirilmesinin, saygılı annelik bakımının yaygınlaştırılmasındaki önemi ortaya konulmaktadır. Bölüm, dijital sağlık çözümlerinin anne sağlığı hizmetlerinde dönüştürücü bir rol üstlenebileceğini göstermektedir.

Respectful Maternity Care (RMC) is a contemporary approach to maternal health that prioritizes women’s dignity, autonomy, and supportive care throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Recent advances in digital health have created significant opportunities to strengthen the implementation of RMC principles within maternal health services. This chapter examines innovative digital health technologies and initiatives that support respectful maternity care. The roles of mobile health (mHealth) applications, tele-health and remote care models, and artificial intelligence–based solutions in improving access to maternal health services, enhancing continuity of care, and promoting women’s active engagement in healthcare processes are discussed in light of current evidence. Examples from low- and middle-income settings are highlighted to demonstrate the potential of digital technologies to create more supportive and woman-centered care experiences. In addition, the integration of digital tools with healthcare provider training, continuity of care models, and community-based approaches is emphasized as a key strategy for scaling up respectful maternity care practices. Overall, this chapter underscores the transformative potential of digital health innovations in improving maternal healthcare delivery.
