Restoratif Diş Tedavisi Eğitiminde Haptik Simülasyon

Özet

Bu bölümde restoratif diş tedavisi eğitiminde kullanılan haptik simülasyon teknolojileri ele alınmaktadır. Geleneksel eğitim yöntemleri ile karşılaştırıldığında, sanal gerçeklik ve haptik geri bildirim sistemlerinin öğrencilere daha gerçekçi ve etkileşimli bir öğrenme ortamı sunduğu vurgulanmaktadır. Bu sistemler, özellikle kavite preparasyonu ve çürük temizliği gibi işlemler sırasında dokunsal geri bildirim sağlayarak psikomotor becerilerin gelişimini desteklemektedir. Ayrıca standart vaka senaryoları, objektif değerlendirme imkânı ve tekrar edilebilir uygulamalar sayesinde eğitim sürecine önemli katkılar sağlamaktadır. Bölümde güncel haptik simülasyon sistemleri ve özellikleri karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiş, avantaj ve sınırlılıkları tartışılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, bu teknolojilerin geleneksel eğitim yöntemlerini tamamlayıcı nitelikte olduğu ve diş hekimliği eğitiminde giderek daha fazla yer bulacağı ifade edilmektedir.

This chapter focuses on haptic simulation technologies used in restorative dental education. Compared to traditional teaching methods, virtual reality and haptic feedback systems provide a more realistic and interactive learning environment for students. These systems support the development of psychomotor skills by offering tactile feedback during procedures such as cavity preparation and caries removal. In addition, standardized case scenarios, objective evaluation, and repeatable practice opportunities contribute significantly to the educational process. Current haptic simulation systems and their features are comparatively reviewed, and their advantages and limitations are discussed. It is concluded that these technologies serve as complementary tools to conventional methods and are expected to become increasingly integrated into dental education.
