This chapter explores the integration of tele-neurology within evolving healthcare services and its critical role in nursing practice. Given the significant global morbidity and mortality associated with neurological disorders, tele-neurology offers revolutionary opportunities for accessing specialist care, particularly for patients in rural areas or those with mobility limitations. The text examines the historical development of tele-neurology, artificial intelligence integration, benefits in chronic disease management, and prevailing socioeconomic barriers through evidence-based studies. By highlighting the expanding responsibilities of nurses including remote patient assessment, technology-driven education, and data security the chapter discusses the potential of tele-neurology to establish a more inclusive and patient-centered care paradigm.
