Akut Krom Zehirlenmesi: İş Kazasına Bağlı Sistemik Toksisite Olgusunun Yönetimi
Özet
Krom, özellikle hekzavalan formu (Cr⁶⁺), endüstriyel kullanım alanı yaygın olan, ciddi toksik potansiyele sahip bir ağır metaldir. Akut maruziyet, oral alım, inhalasyon veya dermal temas yoluyla gelişebilir. Toksisite çoklu organ sistemlerini etkileyerek yaşamı tehdit eden tablolar oluşturur. Bu olgu sunumunda iş kazası nedeniyle yoğun dermal krom maruziyeti sonrası, akut krom intoksikasyonunda nefrolojik, hematolojik, dermatolojik ve gastrointestinal etkilenmeler güncel literatür eşliğinde tartışılmaktadır.
Chromium, particularly its hexavalent form (Cr⁶⁺), is a heavy metal with significant toxic potential and widespread industrial use. Acute exposure can occur through oral ingestion, inhalation, or dermal contact. Toxicity affects multiple organ systems, creating life-threatening conditions. In this case report, the nephrological, hematological, dermatological, and gastrointestinal effects of acute chromium intoxication following intense dermal chromium exposure due to a work-related accident are discussed in light of current literature.
