Paraneoplastic Dermatoses
Özet
The increase in the proportion of elderly people worldwide will increase the incidence of cancer and the associated mortality rate. Although some paraneoplastic dermatoses are well recognized, it should be kept in mind that theoretically all dermatologic diseases can have paraneoplastic features. In daily practice, it is vital for clinicians to recognize paraneoplastic dermatoses as they may contribute to the early diagnosis of an underlying neoplasia. Clinicians should rule out age-sex-matched malignancies in suspicious cases after detailed anamnesis and detailed physical examination in accordance with national and international malignancy screening guidelines.
