Geriatric Hair and Scalp Disorders
Özet
As the population ages, hair and scalp disorders often influenced by hormonal changes and underlying systemic conditions become increasingly prevalent among the elderly, significantly affecting their quality of life and psychological well-being. This review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the etiology, diagnosis, and management of common geriatric hair and scalp disorders, highlighting the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to improve patient outcomes and enhance quality of life in this growing patient demographic.
