Diş Hekimliğinde Non-termal Plazma

Yazarlar

Recent advances in the development of plasma have increased focus on its applications in medicine and dentistry.
Non-thermal plasma (NTP) is widely used in various therapeutic applications in healthcare. In dentistry, NTP holds great potential in areas such as dental implant surface modification, enhancement of adhesive properties, polymerization, root canal disinfection, tooth whitening, bacterial inactivation, sterilization, and the treatment of dental caries.
Although not yet widely used by dentists, plasma holds promise in many areas of dentistry and is ushering in a new era in plasma dentistry.
The purpose of this article is to examine the applications of non-thermal plasma in dentistry.
