Üremik Kaşıntı ve Kanıta Dayalı Tedavi Bakım Uygulamaları

Özet

Üremik kaşıntı hemodiyaliz hastalarında sıklıkla görülen problemlerdendir. Etkin yönetilmediği zaman hastalarının uyku ve yaşam kalitelerinin azalmasına neden olmaktadır. Hemodiyaliz hastalarında üremik kaşıntının yönetimine ilişkin literatüre göre; hemşirelerin hastalardaki kaşıntının süresi, yayılımı ile ilgili değerlendirme yapmaları, hastaların değerlendirilmesi ve takibinde değerlendirme araçlarından faydalanmaları önerilmektedir. Ayrıca, hastalara eğitim, cilt bakımı konusundan danışmanlık yapmalı, kaşıntı ile baş etme yollarını öğretmeli, tedavileri hekimi ile iş birliği içinde uygulayıp takip etmelidirler. Ancak, değerlendirme için standart bir rehber olmadığı, cilt bakımı, hasta eğitimi, davranışsal ve nonfarmakolojik yaklaşımlar ile ilgili daha fazla araştırma yapılması gerektiği görülmektedir. Bu bağlamda, hemodiyaliz hastalarında üremik kaşıntının yönetimine ilişkin yeni araştırmalar yapılması önerilebilir.
