Sosyal Hizmet Yönetiminde Etik
Özet
Sosyal hizmet yönetimi, yalnızca idari bir süreç değil; insan hakları, sosyal adalet ve hizmet alan bireylerin onuruna dayalı bir etik sorumluluk alanı olarak ele alınmaktadır. Bu bölümde, sosyal hizmet yöneticilerinin karşılaştıkları etik ikilemler; bireysel değerler, kurumsal yapılar ve toplumsal sorumluluklar arasındaki gerilim çerçevesinde tartışılmaktadır. Etik karar verme süreci, eleştirel düşünme, kültürel duyarlılık, istişare ve hesap verebilirlik ilkeleriyle açıklanmış; McAuliffe ve Chenoweth’in Kapsayıcı Etik Karar Verme Modeli ayrıntılı biçimde ele alınmıştır. Bölüm, etik liderliğin sosyal hizmet kurumlarında hesap verebilirlik, şeffaflık ve güvenin güçlendirilmesindeki rolüne dikkat çekmektedir. Sonuç olarak, sosyal hizmet yönetiminde etik yaklaşımın, kurumsal performansı artırmanın yanı sıra müracaatçıların hak temelli hizmetlere erişimini güçlendiren bir araç olduğu vurgulanmaktadır. Etik duyarlılığın yaygınlaştırılması için sürekli eğitim, mentörlük ve etik karar alma modellerinin kurumsal düzeyde uygulanması önerilmektedir.
