Gerilim Baş Ağrısında Güncel Tedaviler
Özet
Gerilim tipi baş ağrısı (GTBA), en sık gözlenen baş ağrısı tipidir. Hafif ya da orta şiddette, iki taraflı, baskılayıcı veya sıkıştırıcı özellikte baş ağrısı ile karakterizedir. Migren ve GTBA aynı bireyde birlikte görülebilir ve risk faktörleri ile tedavileri örtüşebilir. Ancak GTBA, migrene kıyasla daha az ilgi görmekte ve araştırılmaktadır. Özellikle kalsitonin gen ile ilişkili peptid (CGRP) mekanizmasını hedefleyen migren tedavileri giderek yaygınlaşırken, GTBA’sının tedavisindeki hedef mekanizmaların araştırılması çoğu zaman göz ardı edilmektedir. Kronik GTBA'nın hastalık yükü çok yüksektir ve etkili koruyucu tedavilerin geliştirilmesine halen ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Bu derleme, GTBA hakkında en güncel bilimsel kanıtları sunmayı amaçlamaktadır.
