Farklı Alanlarda Karşılaşılan Etik Sorunlar

Özet

Bu bölüm, kentlerin yapısını, organizasyonunu ve toplumsal dönüşüm süreçlerini çok katmanlı bir sosyolojik perspektifle ele almaktadır. Kent mekânının yalnızca fiziksel bir yerleşim alanı değil, ekonomik, kültürel ve politik güç ilişkilerinin kesiştiği dinamik bir toplumsal form olduğu vurgulanmaktadır. Bölüm; mekânsal eşitsizlik, kentsel planlama, göç ve yerinden edilme, gentrifikasyon ve kentsel yenileme gibi temel temalar üzerinden çağdaş kentleşme dinamiklerini tartışır. Lefebvre’nin mekânın üretimi yaklaşımından Castells’in ağ toplumu analizine, Harvey’nin mekânsal adalet perspektifinden feminist ve çevresel kent çalışmalarına uzanan geniş kuramsal bir çerçeve sunulmaktadır. Türkiye ve dünya örnekleri üzerinden kentlerin neoliberal politikalar, dijitalleşme, toplumsal hareketlilik ve yeni aktivizm biçimleriyle nasıl dönüştüğü ele alınır. Bölüm, kenti hem eşitsizliklerin yeniden üretildiği hem de yeni toplumsal mücadelelerin geliştiği bir alan olarak değerlendirerek bütüncül ve eleştirel bir analiz sunar.
