Özet

Bu bölümün amacı, modern yaşamın getirdiği stres ve uyku düzensizliğinin sağlık üzerindeki etkilerini incelemek ve Temel Beden Farkındalık Terapisi’nin (TBFT) bu süreçleri düzenlemedeki potansiyelini değerlendirmektir. Bu doğrultuda literatür taraması ve TBFT’nin temel uygulama ilkeleri ele alınmıştır. Günümüzün hızlı yaşam temposuna bağlı olarak artan stres yükü, uyku düzensizliği ve bedensel farkındalıktan uzak yaşam biçimleri, hem fiziksel hem de mental sağlık üzerinde önemli etkilere sahiptir. Sağlık ve mental sağlık, yalnızca hastalıkların yokluğu değil; duygusal denge, zihinsel dayanıklılık ve bedensel farkındalığın bütünleştiği bir iyilik hâli olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Stres tepkisinin fizyolojisi, HPA ekseni bağlamında uyku düzeni ve sirkadiyen ritimle ilişkili olarak açıklanmaktadır. Literatür, kronik stresin uyku kalitesini bozduğunu, uyku eksikliğinin ise stres yanıtlarını güçlendirerek duygu durum bozukluklarına zemin hazırladığını göstermektedir. TBFT; nefes, duruş, hareket ve farkındalık temelli uygulamalar aracılığıyla stresin bedensel izlerini azaltmayı, uyku kalitesini artırmayı ve sinir sistemi regülasyonunu desteklemeyi amaçlayan bütüncül bir yaklaşım sunmaktadır. Bulgular, TBFT’nin hem klinik hem de önleyici sağlık bağlamında etkili bir tamamlayıcı müdahale olduğunu göstermekte ve beden farkındalığı temelli yaklaşımların biyopsikososyal modellerle entegrasyonunun önemini vurgulamaktadır.
