İzole Gastroknemius Kas Kısalığı: Biyomekanik Etkileri ve Fizyoterapi Yaklaşımı

Özet

İzole gastroknemius kas kısalığı, ayak bileği dorsifleksiyonunu azaltarak alt ekstremite biyomekaniğini önemli ölçüde etkileyebilir. Tibianın talus üzerinde ilerlemesini sınırlayan bu durum; pes planus, arka ayak pronasyonu, plantar fasiit, Aşil tendinopatisi ve artmış ön ayak basıncı gibi pek çok patolojiyle ilişkilidir. Literatür, izole gastroknemius kas kısalığının yürüyüş sırasında kompansatuvar stratejilere yol açabildiğini göstermektedir. Tedavide germe uygulamaları, eksantrik egzersizler, intrinsik–ekstrinsik ayak kaslarını hedefleyen güçlendirme programları gibi yaklaşımlar öne çıkar. Kanıtlar, bu müdahalelerin dorsifleksiyonu artırdığını, yük dağılımını düzenlediğini ve ayak–ayak bileği fonksiyonunu iyileştirdiğini göstermektedir.
