Postpartum Emziren Kadın ve Egzersiz

Özet

Postpartum dönemde egzersiz, emziren annelerin kardiyovasküler sağlığını geliştirir, pelvik taban ve kas gücünü destekler, doğum sonrası depresyon riskini azaltır. Literatür, orta düzey egzersizin anne sütü hacmi, içeriği, immünolojik bileşenleri veya bebeğin büyümesi üzerinde olumsuz etkisi olmadığını göstermektedir. Yoğun egzersiz sonrası sütte geçici laktik asit artışı görülebilse de bu durum klinik olarak anlamlı değildir ve uygun zamanlama ile yönetilebilir. Egzersizin tek başına kilo kaybı sağlamadığı, ancak kalori kısıtlaması ile birleştirildiğinde postpartum kilo kontrolünü desteklediği belirtilmiştir. Uzun süreli yalnız emzirme (≥6 ay), annenin doğum öncesi kilosuna dönüşünü kolaylaştırır. Bu nedenle emziren kadınlarda bireyselleştirilmiş egzersiz ve dengeli beslenme önerilmektedir.
