Adölesan Dönemde Gelişimsel Özellikler
Özet
Adölesan dönem, üreme ve ebeveynlik başarısını garantilemek için uyarlanan fiziksel, psikolojik ve duygusal değişiklikleri de beraberinde getiren bir yaşam dönemidir. Fiziksel olgunlaşma, bireyi güç, hız ve kondisyon açısından zirveye taşır. Bireyde yaşanan değişimler, genetik faktörler, beslenme, psikolojik ve sosyoekonomik koşulların etkileri ile şekillenmektedir. Aynı zamanda adölesan dönemde birey, biyolojik olgunlaşma ile sosyal olgunlaşma arasında yaşadığı karmaşa nedeni ile depresyon, psikosomatik sendromlar, maddenin kötüye kullanımı, cinsel yolla bulaşan hastalıklar açısından önemli bir risk grubundadır. Bu nedenle adölesan dönemin, biyolojik gelişim ve sosyal gelişim arasında uyumlu geçmesi sağlıklı yetişkinliğe geçiş açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır.
