Defibrilasyon
Özet
Elektriksel kardiyoversiyon ve defibrilasyon, kardiyak aritmilerin tedavisinde yaygın ve etkili müdahalelerdir. Kardiyoversiyon senkronize, defibrilasyon ise senkronize olmayan şoklarla uygulanır. Modern defibrilatörler monofazik ya da bifazik dalga formlarıyla enerji iletir. Bifazik dalga formu, daha düşük enerjilerle daha yüksek başarı oranı sunarak günümüzde tercih edilen yöntemdir. Kardiyoversiyon ve defibrilasyonun etkinliğini; elektrot konumu, ped boyutu, elektrot tipi ve uygulanan enerji gibi cihaz değişkenlerinin yanı sıra; transtorasik empedans, aritmi tipi ve süresi gibi hasta faktörleri belirler. Ardışık defibrilasyon gibi yeni stratejiler ise refrakter vakalarda umut vadetmektedir.
