Özet

Alt ekstremite travmaları, acil servis başvurularında sık karşılaşılan ve doğru yönetilmediğinde ciddi komplikasyonlara yol açabilen klinik durumlardır. Bu travmalarda doğru tanı ve hızlı müdahale kadar, uygun immobilizasyon tekniklerinin kullanımı da tedavi başarısını doğrudan etkiler. Alçı ve atel uygulamaları, hem ağrı kontrolü sağlamak hem de fonksiyonel iyileşmeyi desteklemek amacıyla yaygın olarak uygulanmaktadır. Bu bölümde, alt ekstremite travmalarında kullanılan başlıca alçı ve atel türleri, uygulama teknikleri, dikkat edilmesi gereken noktalar ve sık karşılaşılan komplikasyonlar güncel literatür eşliğinde ele alınmıştır.
