Pediatrik Sedasyon ve Analjezi
Özet
Acil servislerde sedasyon analjezi, ağrılı ve ajite edebilecek işlemler için sıklıkla uygulanmakta olup son yıllarda çocuklar için olan uygulamalarda birçok gelişme olmuştur. Çocuklarda ajite edici işlemlerin yönetiminde; anestezi, acil tıp, çocuk diş hekimliği ve kritik bakım gibi alanlardaki uygulayıcılar arasında ortak bir dil olulşturmak amaçlı yapılan çalışmalar büyük önem taşımaktadır.
Çocukların sedasyon altında güvenli biçimde işlem görmesi vazgeçilmez şart olup, sistematik bir yaklaşım gerektirir. Hekim gözetimi olmadan sedatif ilaç verilmemeli, sedasyon öncesi dikkatli bir muayene yapılmalı, kullanılacak ilacın farmakokinetik ve farmakodinamik etkileri iyi bilinmeli, hava yolu yönetimi için uygun egitimli personel ve yas-boyuta uygun ekipman bulunmali, islem sirasinda ve sonrasinda uygun fizyolojik izlem yapılmalıdır. Bu bölümde çocuklara uygulanacak sedasyon uygulamalarının daha güvenli ve güncel şekilde yapılabilmesine rehberlik etmek amaçlanmıştır.
