Kadavralardaki Enfeksiyonlar Üzerine Bir İnceleme
Özet
Anatomi eğitiminde insan vücudunun normal yapısını, organları ve bunların yerleşiminin öğrenilmesinde en önemli materyallerden biri olan kadavralar usulüne uygun tahnit edilseler dahi enfeksiyon riski taşımaktadır. Bu nedenle kadavra temelli eğitimler hem sağlık alanında eğitim alan öğrenciler hem de eğitimciler için potansiyel bir tehdit oluşturmaktadır. Bu kitap bölümünde, postmortem dokularda enfeksiyöz ajanların canlı kalma süresi ve bu ajanların insanlara bulaş riski tartışılmıştır. Ortaya konan veriler, otopsi işlemleri, kadavra diseksiyonu ve anatomi laboratuvar pratikleri sırasında biyogüvenlik önlemlerinin önemini bizlere göstermiştir. Diseksiyon işlemi sırasında anatomistlerin ve otopsi teknikerlerinin kişiselkoruyucu ekipmanlarını kullanmaya özen göstermeleri, kullanılan diseksiyon materyallerinin düzenli olarak dezenfekte edilmesi önem arz etmektedir. Diseksiyon sırasında oluşabilecek aerosoller çalışanlar, eğitimciler ve öğrenciler için risk taşımakta olup laboratuvarlarda havalandırma filtrelerinin olması önem taşımaktadır. Ayrıca kadavra bağışı öncesi bağışçının bulaşıcı hastalık geçmişinin değerlendirilmesi ve laboratuvar çalışanlarının aşılamalarının eksiksiz olması enfeksiyon kontrolü için elzemdir.
