Sağlığın Sosyal Belirleyicileri
Özet
Sağlık, yalnızca hastalık veya sakatlığın yokluğu değil; fiziksel, ruhsal ve sosyal açıdan tam bir iyilik halidir. Bireylerin yaşam koşulları, gelir düzeyi, eğitim durumu, sosyal ilişkileri ve kültürel çevresi sağlık üzerinde belirleyici rol oynar. Sağlığın sosyal belirleyicileri yapısal (sosyoekonomik durum, politika, eğitim, toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliği) ve ara belirleyiciler (barınma, beslenme, çevre, sağlık hizmetlerine erişim, sosyal bağlar) olarak sınıflandırılır. Bu faktörler, yaşam süresi, hastalık riski ve hizmete erişimi doğrudan etkiler. Türkiye’de ve dünyada yapılan değerlendirmeler, gelir ve eğitim eşitsizliklerinin sağlık göstergelerinde önemli farklar yarattığını ortaya koymaktadır. Sağlıkta eşitliği sağlamak için, politikaların eğitim, çevre, istihdam ve sosyal güvenlik sistemleriyle entegre edilmesi gereklidir. Çok sektörlü ve bütüncül yaklaşımlar, toplumsal refahı artırarak sürdürülebilir sağlık gelişimini destekleyecektir.
