Özet
"Küresel İklim Değişikliğinin İnsan Sağlığı Üzerindeki Etkileri" başlıklı bu bölüm, çağımızın en kritik zorluklarından birini ele almaktadır. Bölüm, soyut çevresel kaygıların ötesine geçerek, ısınan bir gezegenin insan sağlığı üzerindeki doğrudan ve dolaylı sonuçlarını analiz etmektedir. Okuyucular, iklim değişikliğinin refahı etkilediği karmaşık yolları keşfedeceklerdir; buna aşırı sıcak dalgalarından kaynaklanan sıcağa bağlı hastalıklar ve ölümlerdeki artış ile sel ve kasırga gibi şiddetlenen hava olaylarından kaynaklanan fiziksel travmalar da dahildir.
