Endodontik İrrigasyonda Bitkisel Ajanlar: Antimikrobiyal Etkinlikler ve Klinik Potansiyel
Özet
Endodontik tedavinin başarısı kök kanalındaki bakterilerin etkin bir şekilde uzaklaştırılmasına bağlıdır. Geleneksel irrigasyon solüsyonları yüksek antimikrobiyal etkinlik göstermelerine rağmen, toksisite ve biyouyumluluk sorunları nedeniyle sınırlı klinik güvenilirliğe sahiptir. Son yıllarda yapılan çalışmalarda propolis, triphala, neem, yeşil çay, zencefil, sarımsak, papatya ve nar gibi birçok bitkisel ürünün antimikrobiyal etkinlik, biyouyumluluk ve düşük toksisite gibi avantajları gözlenmiştir. Doğal ürünler bu özellikleriyle öne çıkarken biyofilmlere karşı da önemli etkiler göstermektedir. Bitkisel ajanlar daha güvenli ve alternatif irrigantlar olma yolunda klinik olarak umut vadedicidir.
