Adil ve Sürdürülebilir Gıda Sistemleri: Gıda Hakkı, Gıda Egemenliği, Gıda Demokrasisi ve Gıda Vatandaşlığı

Özet

Bu bölüm, çağdaş gıda sistemlerinin dönüşümüne ilişkin dört temel kavramı—gıda hakkı, gıda egemenliği, gıda demokrasisi ve gıda vatandaşlığı—birlikte ele alarak bütüncül bir analiz sunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Gıda hakkı, bireylerin yeterli, sağlıklı ve kültürel olarak uygun gıdaya erişimini evrensel bir insan hakkı olarak tanımlar. Buna karşın gıda egemenliği, bu hakkın hangi politik yapılar içinde, kimler tarafından ve ne tür üretim modelleriyle sağlanacağını sorgulayan eleştirel bir yaklaşımdır. Gıda demokrasisi, bireylerin ve toplulukların gıda sistemlerindeki karar alma süreçlerine katılımını vurgularken, gıda vatandaşlığı bireyleri tüketici kimliğinin ötesinde hak sahibi ve sorumluluk sahibi yurttaşlar olarak konumlandırır. Bu kavramlar, hem teorik düzeyde hem de uygulamada birbirini tamamlayan çok düzeyli bir gıda siyaseti anlayışına işaret etmektedir. Çalışma, söz konusu kavramları karşılaştırmalı olarak analiz etmekte; demokratik, adil ve sürdürülebilir gıda sistemlerinin inşası için çok aktörlü ve katılımcı bir yaklaşım önermektedir.
