Filaviviridae
Özet
Dünya üzerinde asırlardır birlikte yaşadığımız ve yaşamı paylaştığımız bundan sonra da yaşamaya devam edeceğimiz diğer canlıların hem yaşam alanlarına ve hem de yaşam haklarına saygı göstermek zorundayız. Bu bölümde Filaviviridae ailesinde bulunan Louping ill; Wesselsbron enfeksiyonu; Domuzların Japon Ensephalitisi Virusu; Bovine Viral Diarrhea-Mucosal Disease; Border Disease; Avrupa Domuz Vebası; Atipik Domuz Pestivirusu, Bovine Hepacivirus ve Porcine Pegivirus enfeksiyonları hakkında kısa ve temel bilgiler sunulmuş, güncel veriler aktarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Enfeksiyonların genel isimleri, enfeksiyona neden olan etkenler ve özellikleri, virusların bulaşma yolları ve görülme sıklıkları, virusun organizmaya giriş yaptıktan sonra meydana getirdiği değişiklikler, hayvanlarda görülen klinik bulgular, etkenin hangi yöntemler ile teşhis edilebildikleri, enfeksiyonlardan korunma yöntemleri, enfeksiyonlarla mücadelede alınabilecek tedbirleri, dünyadaki ve Türkiye’deki güncel durumları hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiştir. Bölümü okuyan kişilerin sığırlar ve domuzlarda enfeksiyon meydana getiren ve hastalık oluşturan virusları öğrenmeleri ve hastalıklar hakkında temel bilgiler edinmiş olmaları hedeflenmiştir. Viral enfeksiyonlar ile yapılması gereken koruma ve kontrol tedbirleri ile ilgili temel kazanımları elde etmeleri gözetilmiştir. Bölüm içerisinde zoonoz viral enfeksiyonlardan da bahsedilmiş olup bu enfeksiyonlar ile karşılaşılması durumunda alınacak tedbirlerin öğrenilmesi açısından yararlı olacağı düşünülmüştür.
