Özet
Bu bölüm, inflamatuar mesane hastalıklarını ele almakta olup özellikle radyasyon sistiti ve ilaç ilişkili sistitlere odaklanmaktadır. Radyasyon sistiti, pelvik radyoterapinin geç dönemde ortaya çıkan bir komplikasyonu olup hematüri, sık idrara çıkma, ani sıkışma hissi ve ileri olgularda mesane kontraktürü ile seyreder. Tedavide sıvı desteği, intravezikal ajanlar, endoskopik koagülasyon ve nadiren cerrahi yöntemler kullanılmaktadır. İlaç ilişkili sistitler ise en sık siklofosfamid ve ifosfamid gibi kemoterapötik ajanlarla ilişkilidir. Bu ilaçların metaboliti olan akrolein, mesane mukozasında toksik hasara yol açmaktadır. MESNA kullanımı ve yeterli hidrasyon en önemli koruyucu yöntemlerdir. Gelişen olgularda ise semptomatik tedavi ve intravezikal uygulamalar ön plandadır. Bölüm, klinik özellikler, patofizyoloji ve güncel tedavi yaklaşımlarını tartışarak erken tanı ve multidisipliner yaklaşımla hasta sonuçlarını iyileştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.
