Kronik Pelvik Ağrı Sendromları
Özet
Erkeklerde primer pelvik ağrı sendromu ( CPPPSm) etiolojisi tam olarak bilinmemekle birlikte çoklu neden söz konusudur. Uzun yıllar hastalara yanlışlıkla prostatit tanısı konuldu. Bu hastalarda en azından üç aydır süren pelvik ağrı vardır ve pek çok değişik disiplin ve doktor tarafından görülmüştür. Bu sendromun dört kardinal semptomu vardır; pelvik ağrı, alt üriner sistem semptomları, seksüel disfonksiyon, ve duygulanım bozukluğu. Akapunktur dahil olmak üzere çok sayıda tedavi yöntemi değişik sonuçları ile birlikte kullanılmıştır. Elde edinilen bazı yararlar uzun süreli olmayıp geçici olmaktadır. En iyi tedavi sonuçları, özellikle üroloji, fizyoterapi ve psikiyatri bölümlerinİn içeren multidisipliner yaklaşım ile mümkündür.
