Özet
Bu bölümde prostat cerrahileri sonrası idrar kaçırmanın patofizyolojisi; tanı ve tedavi yöntemleri anlatılmaktadır. PPI, sfinkter disfonksiyonu, mesane aşırı aktivitesi veya her ikisinin kombinasyonundan kaynaklanır. Bölüm, risk faktörlerini, tanısal yaklaşımları ve pelvik taban egzersizleri gibi konservatif tedaviler ile erkek üretra askıları ve yapay üriner sfinkter gibi cerrahi müdahaleleri inceler. Doğru tanı ve kişiselleştirilmiş tedavinin hasta sonuçlarını iyileştirmedeki önemi vurgulanmaktadır. Ayrıca, mesane ve üretra fonksiyonunu değerlendirmede ürodinamik çalışmaların rolüne değinilerek, PPI yönetimi için kapsamlı bir rehber oluşturulmuştur.
