Uluslararası Lojistik ve Tedarik Zincirinde Verimliliğin Artırılması: Güncel Bir Yaklaşım
Özet
Bu bölüm, küreselleşme ve dijital dönüşüm çağında uluslararası lojistik ve tedarik zincirinde verimliliği artırmaya yönelik stratejik ve operasyonel yaklaşımları kapsamlı biçimde ele almaktadır. Yalın (lean), çevik (agile) ve leagile tedarik zinciri modelleri kuramsal bir temelde karşılaştırılmış; blokzincir, yapay zekâ ve nesnelerin interneti (IoT) gibi dijital teknolojilerin lojistik süreçlerdeki dönüştürücü etkisi örneklerle tartışılmıştır. Bölümde ayrıca sürdürülebilirlik, yakın kaynak kullanımı (nearshoring), yeşil lojistik ve karbon emisyonlarının azaltılması gibi güncel konular da ele alınmıştır. Uygulama kısmında, Türkiye'nin lojistik performansı ampirik veriler ışığında değerlendirilmiştir. Bu kapsamda Dünya Bankası Lojistik Performans Endeksi (LPI) gibi küresel göstergeler üzerinden Türkiye’nin güçlü ve gelişime açık yönleri analiz edilmiş; gümrük işlemleri, altyapı kapasitesi, zamanlama doğruluğu, izlenebilirlik ve taşımacılık maliyeti gibi kriterler derinlemesine incelenmiştir. Türkiye'nin stratejik konumu, bölgesel lojistik merkezleriyle entegre lojistik sistemler kurma potansiyeli üzerinden tartışılmış; hem kamu politikaları hem de özel sektör perspektifinden sürdürülebilir verimlilik artışı için öneriler sunulmuştur.
This chapter offers a comprehensive exploration of strategies for improving efficiency in international logistics and supply chain management, focusing on the transformative impact of globalization and digitalization. It compares lean, agile, and leagile models, and assesses the role of technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things in optimizing global logistics operations. Environmental sustainability, nearshoring practices, and carbon reduction efforts are also analyzed from both corporate and policy-driven perspectives. In its applied section, the chapter evaluates Türkiye’s logistics performance using global benchmarks, particularly the World Bank’s Logistics Performance Index (LPI). Key metrics—such as customs efficiency, infrastructure quality, timeliness, tracking capability, and cost-effectiveness—are assessed in depth. The analysis highlights Türkiye’s strategic role as a regional logistics hub and its potential for integrated logistics systems. Policy recommendations and sectoral insights are provided to enhance national competitiveness and sustainable logistics efficiency.
