Makrorabdozis (Megabakteriyozis)
Özet
Makrorabdozis (megabakteriyozis), Macrorhabdus ornithogaster tarafından oluşturulan, bitkinlik, iştahsızlık, zayıflama, kaşeksi ve ölümle karakterize, akut ya da kronik seyredebilen, birçok evcil ve yabani kanatlılarda görülen gastrointestinal bir enfeksiyondur. M. ornithogaster kuşlarda sadece proventrikulus ve ventrikulusun birleşim yerinde büyüyen anamorfik bir mayadır. Dünyanın birçok bölgesinde hastalık rapor edilmiştir. En önemli bulaşma yolu feko-oral yoldur. Etken, dışkısı ile saçılmakta, dışkı ile kontamine olmuş yem ve suların tüketilmesi ile diğer hayvanlara bulaşmaktadır. Enfekte kanatlıların ağız salgılarından da etken saçılmaktadır. Yavrulara da annelerin besleme sırasında bulaşmaktadır. Makrorabdozisin tanısı, kültür ve moleküler yöntemlerle yapılır.
