Enfeksiyöz Laringotrakeitis

Özet

Enfeksiyöz laringotrakeitis (ILT), Iltovirus Gallid herpesvirus 1 (GaHV-1) tarafından oluşturulan, özellikle tavuklarda görülen bulaşıcı bir solunum yolu hastalığıdır. Enfeksiyon, solunum sekresyonları, doğrudan temas ve kontamine ekipman yoluyla bulaşır. ILT, yüksek morbidite oranına sahip olup, mortalite oranı değişkenlik gösterebilir. Klinik belirtiler arasında solunum güçlüğü, öksürük, kanlı mukus atılımı, burun akıntısı ve trakeal tıkanıklık yer alır. Hastalığın tanısında virusun izolasyonu, histopatolojik incelemeler, PCR ve serolojik testler gibi yöntemler kullanılır. Spesifik bir antiviral tedavi bulunmamakla birlikte, semptomatik tedavi ve destekleyici bakım hastalığın şiddetini azaltmada önemlidir. ILT’nin kontrol altına alınmasında en etkili yöntem aşılama olup, canlı attenüe ve rekombinant viral vektör aşılar yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Bununla birlikte, biyogüvenlik önlemlerinin uygulanması ve enfekte hayvanların hızla izole edilmesi, hastalığın yayılmasını önlemek için kritik öneme sahiptir. Hastalığın zoonoz önemi yoktur.
