Çalışma Belleği ve Matematik

Özet

Çalışma belleği, matematik becerilerinin öğrenilmesine önemli katkı sağlayan kritik bir bilişsel işlevdir. Bu nedenle, çalışma belleği ve matematik arasındaki ilişkiyi anlamak, çocuklarda matematik öğrenimini desteklemek üzere etkili müdahaleler ve stratejiler geliştirmek için gereklidir. Bu bölümüm amacı, çalışma belleği ile matematik yeterliği arasındaki ilişkiyi mevcut bilimsel bulgular ışığında tartışarak bu bulguların öğretim ortamlarında nasıl işe koşulabileceğine dair önerilerde bulunmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda öncelikle çalışma belleğinin çeşitli bileşenlerinin matematik becerileri ve matematik yetersizlikleri ile nasıl ve ne düzeyde ilişkili olduğu bilimsel araştırma bulgularına dayanarak açıklanmaktadır. Ardından çalışma belleğine duyarlı bir öğretim ortamı oluşturmak üzere kullanılabilecek öğretim stratejilerine ve yapılabilecek öğretimsel düzenlemelere ilişkin önerilerde bulunulmaktadır.
