Çalışma Belleği ve Okuma

Özet

Çalışma belleği, bilgiyi geçici olarak kodlama, depolama ve işlemleme süreçleriyle okuma becerisi üzerinde aktif rol oynayan bilişsel süreçlerden biri olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Okuma sürecinin çok bileşenli yapısı içerisinde çalışma belleği, hem yeni bilgilerin edinilmesi hem de önceki bilgilerin kullanılmasında temel bir rol üstlenmektedir. Bu bölümde okuma ile çalışma belleği ilişkisi fonolojik döngü, görsel-mekansal kayıt defteri ve merkezi yürütücü gibi alt sistemlerin, sesbilgisel farkındalık, çözümleme, sözcük dağarcığı ve okuduğunu anlama gibi becerilerle olan ilişkisi detaylı biçimde açıklanmıştır. Bölümde, kuramsal açıklamaların yanı sıra eğitim ortamlarında kullanılabilecek etkinlik örneklerine de yer verilerek, uygulayıcılara yönelik pratik öneriler sunulmuştur.
