This book chapter focuses on imaging techniques in cardiorheumatology, highlighting their significance in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular involvement in autoimmune rheumatic diseases. It reviews various imaging modalities, including echocardiography, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR), computed tomography (CT), nuclear imaging, and coronary angiography, and their role in detecting cardiac manifestations such as valvular disease, myocardial ischemia, heart failure, and pericarditis. The chapter discusses the strengths, limitations, and clinical applications of each modality, emphasizing the need for a multimodal approach for comprehensive evaluation. It also underscores the importance of early detection through imaging to improve patient outcomes and guide targeted treatment strategies in this patient population.

Bu bölüm, romatolojik hastalıkların kardiyak tutulumunun tanı ve tedavi sürecindeki görüntüleme yöntemlerinin önemini ele almaktadır. Ekokardiyografi, kardiyak manyetik rezonans, bilgisayarlı tomografi, nükleer görüntüleme ve koroner anjiyografi gibi çeşitli görüntüleme tekniklerinin kardiyak bulguların tespitindeki rolü incelenmektedir. Her bir yöntemin avantajları, sınırları ve klinik uygulamaları tartışılmakta, kapsamlı bir değerlendirme için multimodal bir yaklaşımın gerekliliği vurgulanmaktadır. Ayrıca, görüntüleme tekniklerinin erken tanıda, hasta sonuçlarının iyileştirilmesinde ve tedavi stratejilerinin belirlenmesindeki önemi ele alınmaktadır.
